Fish Fry

Here is the recipe for sea food lovers/ fish lovers who loves fish fry without excess oil. Most of fish fry recipes are deep-fried versions. Here I am giving a quick, easy fish fry recipe without excess oil/ deep fry.

Fish Fry

ingredients:
Fish fillets: 5-6
Medium Size Onion- 1 (chopped)
Chillli Powder-1 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder: 1 tsp
Salt- as per taste
Ginger Garlic Paste- 1 tsp
Chopped Coriander-2 tbsps
Oil- 3 tbsps
lemon piece-1/2
Cumin Seeds: big pinch
slit green chilli-1
Garam Masala-Big pinch
Turmeric- 1/4 tsp
Method:

In a bowl take cleaned fish,lime juice, turmeric and wash fish fillets with water after few minutes. This reduces fish smell.
Heat a non stick pan with 3 tbsps of oil, add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Now add green chilli,onions. When onions starts to turn transparent add ginger garlic paste and a pinch of turmeric powder.

Its time add fish and cover it with lid on medium – low heat for about 5 minutes.Now add chilli powder, salt, coriander powder, cover it with lid and cook for 5-10 more minutes or till fish turns golden brown.In between flip fish fillets carefully. Sprinkle garam masala and switch off the stove. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot as a side wish. This goes well with rasam .
